This course is intended to cover the essential materials and skills required for the Instrument Processing (Sterile Processing) clinical externship and certification as a Certified Registered Service Technician (CRCST).
In preparation for the CRCST exam, All In Training Services LLC will provide didactic and hands-on instrumentation instruction in Instrument Processing (Sterile Processing) for the duration of seventeen* (17) weeks.
* Course can run beyond the scheduled 17-weeks, depending on the start date, make-up days, and/or progress.
Upon the completion of the in-class course, qualifying participants will be placed in a ten (10) week externship clinal program to complete the required 400 hours.
With our affiliation with The James Institute for Learning LLC,
Therefore, you will meet with our Extern Coordinator—Ms. Denies James—to further discuss exact details and arrangements throughout the course.
While extern placement is guaranteed upon successful course completion, placement location, date, and shift depending on current rotation and the site/shift availability.
Externs are required to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)...no holidays and no weekends....no exceptions.
Have you already taken a Sterile Processing course and are in need of a refresher course, need to cover instruments only, or are in need of an extern placement?
We offer a refresher course for students who haven't had the course in some time, who are having trouble passing the CRCST exam, or who went to another program that did not offer extern placement. Most students in any of these instances will opt for our 10-week program - which takes place during our current sessions. We focus on the areas of study you are struggling with the most to get you comfortable and where you need to be to move forward.
Upon completion of the 10-week refresher course, students have the option to stay for the duration of the 15-week course. However, a price differential will be applied if the refresher course is extended to the full session.
* Interested participants must be able to prove their completion of a previous Instrument Processing program.
